Position Purpose:

The Specialist – Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring that all calls adhere to the quality guidelines as set forth by the client and by Everise. The QAR achieves this objective by constantly monitoring the associates’ transactions, scoring these monitors, and providing active personal coaching and feedback to the associates.

Job Requirements:

• Monitor/audit each assigned associate in accordance with Everise and client requirements
• Work with supervisors and management to ensure that all associates are meeting quality standards
• Provide training as needed to both new hires and experienced associates
• Attend and contribute to both internal and client calibration sessions
• Remain knowledgeable on project information by keeping training manual and memos updated, and taking calls on assigned engagement(s)
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management of the company

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a call center environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Word and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Detailed-oriented
• Analytical skills
• Exceptional motivational and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently
• Flexible Schedule
• Dependability regarding completion of assignments and attendance
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

  • You must have a quiet, distraction-free work environment without any conflicting responsibilities during your scheduled work shift
  • Your home office must have DSL or Cable Internet that is hardwired into a modem/router via Ethernet (Dial up, Wireless, or Satellite internet service cannot be used)
  • Must have either an ISP provided modem that allows a third party VOIP, or a personal modem and personal router without restrictions
  • Must be able to wire company hardware directly into router which may not be more than 100 feet from the computer
  • Minimum download speed 10 Mbps
  • Minimum upload speed 5 Mbps
  • Ping less than 100 MS consistently that is dedicated to workstation
  • Strong computer knowledge, including the ability to accurately type at least 25 wpm

 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Must be 18 years old or over

  • Must have knowledge of how to use a computer and internet applications

What is a Full-Time position in Customer Service?
Our Virtual Customer Service is open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. As a Seasonal Amazon Customer Service employee your work schedule could fall anywhere in between these hours, and may often require one or both weekend days. You will be expected to work 40 hours per week in this role, with the additional expectation to work up-to 60 hours a week if there is a business need, large-scale event, or if peak season requires.

Working hours for all associates increase substantially during our Peak season(s) and can increase during other times of the year due to business needs. In order to support our customers, vacation requests are not granted during our Peak season(s) and identified blackout periods unless otherwise required by law. You may also be required to work on any/all major holidays.
*Seasonal employees may remain with Amazon in a temporary capacity for up to nine months, or a shorter period of time depending on business need.

Compensation
Except as otherwise required by law, this role pays $15.00 per hour.

  • Help a variety of Amazon customers by phone, e-mail and/or chat.
  • Use tools and programs to navigate the website, research accounts, review options and solutions for customers, and communicate them effectively.
  • Support customers through typing, phone, and computer skills by navigating the internet and website, multiple browsers, e-mail, social media, and instant messenger, or chat tools.
  • Complete mandatory training (this schedule will be different from your work schedule upon hiring).

  • Support a full-time working schedule of 40 hours up to 60 hours based on business needs that may change during the course of your seasonal assignment.
  • Ability to sit or stand at your desk for up to hours at a time.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluent English language proficiency required.

Technical Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 mbps download and 5 mbps upload speed from a reliable internet provider (Cable, DSL or Fiber Optic/FiOS providers only).
  • Must be directly connected to router/modem via Ethernet cable. Cannot use a wireless connection.
  • You will be shipped an Amazon owned laptop, headset, and Ethernet adaptor, and two security tokens to the address provided in your application.

The Role

The Customer Success Support role provides back-office, functional support to the CS professionals aligned to high-touch and medium-touch customer segments.  

The Main Responsibilities

  • Navigates and leverages resources, systems, and tools to mine/validate critical account data effectively and efficiently
  • Responds and prioritizes requests from CSE/C/As including service inventory reports, order reports, trouble/billing ticket research, bill audits, etc.
  • Assists in implementing customer onboarding workflows and process with the focus of returning time to our Customer Success Executive, Customer Success Consultants and Customer Success Advocate’s engagement strategies
  • Completes preliminary research, pricing, quoting, amendment generation for moves, adds, and change orders
  • Conducts renewal research, preliminary tasks enabling contract generation and readiness
  • Supports implementation of customer advocacy via feedback-close loop processes
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance/information gathering for customer product and portal adoption (leveraging on-demand videos and tutorials) as well as service/technical issue resolution
  • Escalates issues appropriately and knows when to pull in Sales, CS, and other stakeholders to assist in resolving outstanding matters
  • Implements automation and digital transformation strategies by learning and promoting self-serve customer mentality and activities
  • Document events and interactions in SalesForce by creating, tracking, and closing cases when issues are resolved

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 1+ years of work experience in a customer support role
  • Fundamental understanding of the Customer Success methodology and best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through, with the ability to handle and prioritize high-volume activities, case assignments while minimizing tasks falling through the cracks
  • Adept at finding answers on the spot and handling uncertainty
  • Good working knowledge of Windows, SFDC and other web-based platforms
  • Consistently ensures that business is always conducted with empathy and integrity
  • Thougtful and trustworthy

Our call center class begins on Monday, August 16th, 2021. Our hours of operation are from Sunday through Saturday, 7:00am-12:15am PST. We support our customers 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year so our customer service representatives need to be flexible to work within the hours of operation, plus weekends and holidays.

Through our company paid 10 week training program, you will learn about insurance policies, regulations, servicing, and what it takes to demonstrate our Quality Standards and Common Purpose, delighting our customers and agents every step of the way. Training hours are from 8:00am-4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This includes formal classroom instruction, assessments, and testing to pass the Personal Lines Licensing exam, which is a requirement for this role.

  • Preferred locations for this position are states within the Mountain Time or Pacific Time Zones. 
  • The following states/districts are excluded from eligibility at this time: Alaska, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New York, Washington DC, West Virginia.

Responsibilities:

  • Helps customers in their time of need by building rapport, responding to, and resolving inbound phone calls in a fast-paced call center environment. This is done by identifying and providing services and solutions to their questions regarding renewals, coverage, eligibility, billing, and policy changes.
  • Delivers expertise by identifying and analyzing customer and agent needs to ensure high satisfaction, growth and retention of business.
  • Provides counsel, guidance and suggestions to our customers to adequately cover and protect what they value most. This is done by using upselling and cross-selling sales skills to educate customers and agents on new and existing insurance products & services.
  • Upholds our customer care standards by achieving individual goals on call quality, handle time, lead transfer ratio, adherence, first call resolution, and reliability.
  • Maintains and tracks accurate data in various computer systems.

Qualifications

  • Associate`s degree in a business related field or equivalent training required.
  • Minimum of 6 months related work experience required, Customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to review, record and organize written data from a variety of sources with no pre-established format.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, and the capacity to multi-task in a structured work environment are required.
  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information is critical.
  • Proficiency with computers is mandatory.
  • Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft office tools is necessary.
  • Must have a clear understanding of the organization`s policies, standards and procedures to guide customer interactions.
  • Appropriate licenses up hiring/training, along with passing Proficiency Assessments is required.
