Requirements

  • At least 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Able to successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Able to work a full-time work week of 32-40 hours, with overtime opportunities as needed
  • Able to maintain 100% strict adherence to the assigned schedule
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including: evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to work full-time hours, with reliable attendance, as outlined in the assigned schedule

Home Office Requirements

For this Advisor position, Transcom provides you an all-in-one computer, monitor, and headset. The computer contains a built-in webcam that is required to be used for training and meetings.  Although the computer is provided if you are hired, you will need a home desktop or laptop computer that is hardwired using an Ethernet connection to complete the typing and internet speed assessments during the application. This is a requirement to be considered for this employment opportunity. 

  • You must have a secure, quiet, distraction-free work environment without any conflicting responsibilities during your scheduled work shift. (Conflicting responsibilities may include caring for a family member)                          
  • Your home office must have a DSL, Fiber, or Cable Internet that is hardwired into a modem/router via Ethernet. (Dial up, Wireless, Mobile Hotspot, or Satellite internet service cannot be used)

This position will be accountable for successfully investigating, reserving, assigning and settling first party property losses while delivering superior customer service. The ideal candidate will operate in the full file model and handle all claims virtually by selecting the proper estimating resource to adjudicate the claim, ensuring all claim handling meets quality and compliance standards.

 

Manage Claim Files:

  • Handle assigned claims in a manner consistent with corporate claim policies and procedures, and statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements and business unit goals.
  • Properly assess the exposure of assigned claims; set appropriate and timely reserves.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned claims, which includes initial claim contact, reserve and execute accurate and timely payments, investigate coverage and recovery opportunities, manage file to timely resolution, and complete all data integrity components.
  • Utilize organization and communication skills to effectively resolve assignments, manage claim deadlines, and appropriately manage vendors.
  • Develop technical and jurisdictional expertise, including knowledge of independent adjusters, contractors, vendors, etc.

 

Provide Exceptional Customer Service:

  • Maintain dedication to meeting or exceeding expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, gaining their trust and respect.  Demonstrate diplomacy and tact to effectively avoid or diffuse high-tension situations.
  • Treat all customers with respect and careful attention.
  • Clearly explain technical information that is helpful to customers.
  • Negotiate skillfully in challenging situations with internal and external groups.

What else can you tell me?

  • You must obtain and maintain a State Adjuster’s License to process Property & Casualty Insurance Claims in the states supported by your department. You will be required to successfully pass the Licensing exam(s) within 30 business days from the completion of the licensing training.
  • In the Catastrophe Claim Representative role, we are The Hartford’s primary response to catastrophe events in the Property line of business. As such, volume in this role can be high and/or volatile and may require extended hours/overtime and working weekends.
  • This is a 100% remote, work from home opportunity.
  • This position has a start date of May 1, 2023
  • Training will likely include travel to the Chicago area (Aurora, IL) for an in-person learning lab from June 19, 2023 through June 30, 2023. You should have no conflicts during training.

Are you a warm and compassionate person?  Do you like working in a fast-paced environment?  Do you have the skills required to help our Members who need roadside assistance during what could be a stressful situation?  Then AAA Club Alliance has the positon for you!  We are hiring Part-Time Emergency Roadside Telephone Responders for the busy winter! This is a work from home customer service position.

 

Virtual training class starts on March 6th – 3 Weeks, Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 4:30pm EST (paid training).  Successful completion of training required. 

 

Schedules After Training – Part-Time 24 hours/4 days per week, 3pm-9pm; 4pm-10pm or 5pm-11pm EST (1 Weekend Day is required per week)

**In order to be considered for this role you must live within our territory**

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Properly answer and accurately respond to a high volume incoming calls (Averaging 40-60 calls per day) from Members in need of Roadside Assistance.

  • Deliver extraordinary customer service to AAA Members in need of Roadside Assistance using sound business judgement, acting with empathy and ensuring questions are answered accurately by using department Knowledge Base programs and reference materials.

  • Accurately enter information like location details, vehicle make and model and description of the Members’ Roadside Assistance needs including any special considerations.

  • Use online mapping and search resources to assist Members in determining their breakdown location and establishing their tow destination.

  • Listen and probe for additional information in order to identify situations that may require special handling (e.g. safety concerns, extreme hardship to Member etc.) and make sound decisions concerning prioritization of service.

  • Provide clear and accurate details related to pending service, the potential cost of service and estimated time of arrival and provide any instructions to the Member as needed.

  • Ensure awareness of any AAA programs, products or discounts that may enhance the Members’ experience based on the specific circumstances of the call.

Requirements to work from home:

  • This position does not allow flexibility to care for others during work hours.

  • All assigned duties, including training, must be performed at your home address on the computer equipment provided.  No cellphone or tablet devices during training.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 to 5 years of customer service experience or call center experience preferred. 

  • Preferred experience in a performance-based or metric driven environment.

  • Effective analytical, written and oral communication skills to enable accurate completion of assignments, proper handling of problem situations and constructive interaction with others. 

  • Ability to cope in a professional manner with a fast work pace and time pressure. 
    Ability to remain organized and in control under challenging conditions.

  • Working knowledge of personal computer, internet and competent keyboarding skills to accurately and efficiently complete daily work assignments.

In this Customer CARE Specialist 2 role, you will be the voice of Nordstrom and/or Nordstrom Rack, fielding real-time calls in a virtual, call center environment from customers across the country. Orientation: 1 week (Tuesday – Friday) 7:00AM – 4:00PM PST

A day in the life… 

  • Act as a Brand Ambassador for the Nordstrom company, providing world-class service to all Customers 
  • Successfully troubleshoot and resolve all customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone/email and/or chat contacts

  • Process orders and enter data into order entry system

Overview

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing effective customer service for all AMER Kelly Services Employees and Field by using knowledge of company processes, applications and services. CSR’s interact with employees to provide information in response to questions, concerns and issue resolution via phone and case.

Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • First level support of Payroll, Taxation (W2, T4, and W4), Wage & Hour Compliance (Wage & Hour), Garnishment, Payment options (Money card, Direct Deposit, Check), Bonus, Expense Reporting, Time submission, Multi State Anti-Harassment training per requirements, Work Time Screenings, Holiday pay, Sick & Safe Leave plans for the AMER Region, etc.
  • First level support of HR related activities.
  • First level support of the Emergency Operations Center during disaster situations across the AMER region.
  • Special projects or new support activities based on the business requirements of Kelly.
  • Ability to manage third party interpreter during call.
  • A positive attitude, even when faced with misplaced criticism or frustration.
  • The ability to learn quickly and move on from both success and failure.
  • Process resolution of employee and field issues according to established policies, knowledge articles and procedures.
  • Work closely with 2nd level teams for all issues not resolved at first call, 1st level.
  • Support Team performance goals including After Call Work (ACW), First Call Resolution (FCR), Average Speed to Answer (ASA), Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), Quality Assurance (QA), and Call Abandon Rate (CAR)
  • Adherence to Schedule.
  • Documentation of all inbound calls in case management tool.
  • Assist with special projects or specialized team roles.

Qualifications

Candidate must demonstrate an ability to multitask, an attention to detail, good communication skills, customer interaction skills, patience in dealing with confused or irate customers, problem solving skills, commitment to continual education about the company, processes and services.

Ability to manage fast pace inbound contact center calls.
