Essential Functions: The nuts and bolts

  • Check inventory, process returns, issue replacements and credits for damaged or defective merchandise
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications: What you need to apply

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 – 2 years previous customer service experience
  • Experience in a performance-based or metric-driven environment
  • Strong ability to communicate both verbally and written with capable data entry skills

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Answer incoming phone calls from our health insurance consumers (i.e. plan members, family members on the plan) and identify the type of assistance needed to address their concerns and answer their inquiries.
    • Route applicable requests to rectify issues with claims, benefits, pharmacy, enrollment and authorizations.
    • Ensure consumer satisfaction by delivering a high quality of customer service and following through to resolve issues.
    • Identify, anticipate and resolve additional issues to better serve the consumer and eliminate possible needs for future calls.

    • High school diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent years of work experience
    • 2+ years of experience with customer service OR experience in a medical office, health care, call center or office setting analyzing and solving customer problems including the use of conflict management skills and resolving stressful situations
    • Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications

    Preferred Qualifications:

      • The Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Pharmacy Technician will assist the MTM Pharmacist to support our mission of delivering safe, effective and affordable medication therapy management services to our target population. The MTM Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists by providing outstanding pharmaceutical care and customer service to patients in a team-based setting. In addition, they will perform clerical duties which do not require the professional clinical judgment of the pharmacist. 

        What Health System Pharmacy contributes to Cardinal Health
        Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health’s pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers. Health System Pharmacy is responsible for providing customized pharmacy program solutions that reduce costs and improve patient care quality for hospitals, health systems and other integrated healthcare providers may also consult with and advise healthcare team on prescribed medications, supplies and related processes.

         

        Location

        • Remote/Work from home

         

        Schedule

        • 40 hours per week
        • Hours will be scheduled during the following times: Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-6:30pm CST and a 1 Saturdays a month rotation, 9:00am-1:00pm CST. 

        Responsibilities:

        Patient Care Fulfillment Activities

        • Contact patients via phone to introduce and explain the benefits of the MTM program and ensure patients are prepared to complete the MTM service at their scheduled appointment time.
        • Accurately conduct telephonic patient intake by inputting demographic, allergy and medication information into the MTM platform.
        • Document patient questions and/or concerns for the pharmacist to address directly with the patient.
        • Contact patients as needed for follow-up and adherence monitoring.

        Prescriber Fulfillment Activities

        • Engage with prescriber offices to obtain responses to pharmacist-generated clinical recommendations.
        • Collaborate with pharmacist, pharmacy technician, and pharmacy student colleagues to support resolution of medication therapy problems.
        • Assist with documenting and submitting claims for clinical interventions made by pharmacists.

        General Activities

        • Provide exemplary internal and external customer service through prompt, professional, and polite communication.
        • Perform auxiliary functions essential to the efficient operation of the department.
        • Meet productivity and performance expectations set forth by manager

         

        Qualifications:

        Preferred –

        • High school diploma or equivalent
        • Outpatient pharmacy technician experience
        • Medication reconciliation experience
        • PTCB Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv) certification
        • Completion of a Medication History Education/Training Program
        • Medical background or alternative patient care experience
        • Experience coordinating, delivering, and/or supporting MTM programs
        • Experience with MTM Platforms, electronic health records and scheduling software.

        Required –

        • Active pharmacy technician license in the state of residence where required and current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB)
        • Proven record of excellent attendance and punctuality
        • Extensive understanding of:
          • Medications and medical terminology, including basic disease state knowledge
          • Pharmaceutical therapeutic categories and common indications of medications
          • The pharmacist’s clinical role in the care of patients
        • Proven ability to:
          • Use and pronounce common medical and pharmacy terms correctly, including medication names
          • Use and understand pharmaceutical references
          • Evaluate information from both oral and written sources and report information to pharmacists
          • Follow step-by-step instructions and enter data accurately into MTM database with close attention to detail
          • Provide excellent customer service with a can-do attitude
          • Work independently in a collaborative environment

Robert Half is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a part of the Customer Service Department. The department strives to provide high quality and timely support to internal and external customers. Customer Service personnel typically interact with RHI branch sales personnel, external job candidates, Clients, internal departments (e.g. Payroll, Data Entry, etc.) and outside agencies and handle a variety of service requests that relate to payroll, benefits, employment verification, etc. The Customer Service department responds to a high volume of telephone, email and written inquiries, all of which require the identification, acknowledgement and analysis of customer needs/problems. The Customer Service Department routinely initiates corrective actions or provides recommendations on how the problem can best be resolved to meet or exceed customer expectations. The accuracy, timeliness and quality of response provided on a daily basis to each customer interaction are critical to RHI’s success. Inquiries handled by the department can relate to both US and Canadian operations. In performing this function, Customer Service personnel are responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer relations.

Specific Responsibilities:

 

  • Acts as the first point of contact via phone call, email or callback for candidate/Field Offices/Clients on payroll/time entry system, or access issues related to the online time reporting system, compliance requirements, benefits, 401K, sick pay, verification of employment requests, Canadian ROE’s & Availability, and tax inquiries/issues. To resolve these issues a detailed understanding of the existing multiple systems and business processes used within the Customer Service and Payroll Operation departments (PeopleSoft HCM, “”Online Time Reporting and Approval”” system, Micro J Plus, Livelink, W-2 software, Excel, Word, CIC Client, and outlook) is necessary in order to be successful in this role.
  • Customer Service Representatives resolve issues accurately and timely, by using their diverse knowledge of Field Service Center Departments and Branch functions.
  • Processes and documents transaction or initiate a form to be resolved by Payroll Operations.
  • Educates branch offices about timelines, procedures and the cost/benefit of various alternatives.
  • Educates candidates about the various self-service options via the websites and Interactive Voice Response (IVR).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years previous customer service experience required.
  • 1+ years Call center experience.
  • Payroll experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, with ability to learn other applications easily.
  • Knowledge PeopleSoft other HR applications preferred.
  • Exercise of judgment, knowledge/recall, hearing, ability to speak and write clearly, visual ability.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to enter data. Use of call center telephone/email application or other office equipment.
  • Ability to demonstrate attendance. Ability to sequence, follow directions.
  • Ability to collaborate with team and others to perform work responsibilities.
  • Ability to meet or exceed all quality standards.

 

The typical salary range for this position is $42,000 to $63,000. The salary is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

Job Description

In this Customer CARE Specialist 2 role, you will be the voice of Nordstrom and/or Nordstrom Rack, fielding real-time calls in a virtual, call center environment from customers across the country. The ideal Customer CARE Specialist is caring and compassionate, enthusiastic, solutions-oriented and committed to providing outstanding service to all our customers.  

 

This role is a fully remote, work from home position. Candidate location restrictions apply. Nordstrom can offer remote employment of this position in: New Mexico

 

Shifts:  

Full-time. Shift times will vary upon business need. Schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required. 

 

Paid!  Training:   

Orientation: 1 week (Tuesday – Friday) 7:00AM – 4:00PM PST 

Training: 3 weeks (Monday – Friday) 7:00AM – 4:00PM PST (Attendance at training is required) 

 

Work from Home Subsidy! $50/month  

 

A day in the life… 

  • Act as a Brand Ambassador for the Nordstrom company, providing world-class service to all Customers 
  • Successfully troubleshoot and resolve all customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone/email and/or chat contacts 
  • Provide Customers with critical service and product information, ensuring customer satisfaction  
  • Process orders and enter data into order entry system  
  • Track customer packages 
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

You own this if you have… 

  • 6+ months experience within a customer service-focused environment, such as contact center, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage (preferred) 
  • The ability to meet the Nordstrom and Nordstrom Customer CARE Work from Home Guidelines and expectations 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high sense of urgency 
  • Understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting issues with minimal assistance 
  • Ability to work a set schedule (scheduled start, stop, breaks and lunches), including nights, weekends, and holidays, with required overtime as business needs; flexibility required during peak times 
  • A quiet, distraction free, secure home workspace   
  • The ability to work your entire shift using a computer while stationed at a desk, wearing a headset, and turn on the camera when requested by leadership  
  • Wired, high-speed Internet, Modem or Router w/ Ethernet Port – Thin client must connect directly (No Satellite Internet or Wi-Fi)
