This role is critical to ensure timely and accurate implementation of direct customer and Key market supported customer notifications related to Corrections and Removals are completed on schedule. Completes monthly FDA status reports, continuously tracks, monitors, and supports responses to global inquiries in support of customer notification and Competent Authority reporting.  Represents BU with various Philips level teams regarding processes affecting area of responsibility. Ensures audit ready documentation.

You are responsible for

  • Responsible and accountable for quality and regulatory activities supporting post-market regulatory activities, specifically regarding product recalls.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers the development and maintenance of customer lists and accurately report on their status working with Project Managers and cross functional team.
  • Track and maintain evidence of the accurate & timely delivery of customer communications to domestic and international customers working with global market personnel, and report on their status by via defined monitoring processes.
  • Coordinate with team to actively drive the timely implementation of recall actions and monitor status by tracking implementation.
  • Support in ownership of the recall documentation and maintenance.
  • Ownership of timely and accurate responses to inquiries from USA and global regulators.
  • Interact with diverse persons inside the company such as key market quality & regulatory contacts, customer support and field personnel in order to ensure that the product recalls are addressed according to established procedures.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of customer mailings/communications and prepare the monthly status reports for effectiveness check.
  • Ensure that the appropriate procedures and processes are followed in order to be compliant.
  • Ensure managed areas are fully prepared for the audits and any inspections.
  • Achieve the above goals by influencing & effectively communicating with Post Market Project Managers, Post Market Mgmt. and Field Sales and Services as appropriate.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in scientific, health care, nursing or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a medically regulated and technical environment in (FDA Class I or II equivalent) preferred
  • Problem Solving, working independently with minimum supervision
  • Must be able to create custom reports within MS Excel to process data for management reporting
  • Proficiency using office tools such as Microsoft Access and Excel, ClearQuest, and various other computer software applications
  • Good Verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skill and focus on detail, problem solving.
  • Requires the proven ability to consistently meet and/or exceed goals. Must be capable of making commitments, setting priorities, and delivering results on time.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and within a global team.
  • Able to exercise sound judgment within Philips using standard operating procedures and policies to determine appropriate action to achieve objectives.
  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet regulatory reporting time frames and company requirements.

The Role

Provide general written/verbal customer support for internal and external Lumen customers with single contact resolution.

The Main Responsibilities

• Address internal and external customer’s basic to more complex questions such as billing inquires, order status, and validate sercices and dependencies of order requests
• Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Order Entry, CCMs, Account Team, Billing and Provisioning to provide best customer expierence
• Utilize current systems to properly authenticate customer
• Solve complex customer issues by using provided systems and resources
• Provide technical support and navigation assistance of Lumen’s customer portal
• Validate customer request type to create Move Add Change order requests for customer
• And other duties as assigned
• Identify system inconsistencies and make recommendation on fixes or improvements

• Provide best in class customer experience utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills focused on resolving the customer’s concern at 1st point of contact
• Identify and document root cause of customer’s issue using active listening and strategic questions
• Provide recommendations related to process improvement or opportunities

• Ability to interact professionally with peer departments and leverage them to improve customer experience
 

 

What We Look For in a Candidate

Qualifications:
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of contact center expierence
• Strong computer skills with MS Office experience and the ability to navigate multiple systems at once
• Strong written/verbal communication experience
• Strong Customer Service skills
 

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of telecommunications/technology industry

What Customer Operations Support contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for answering inbound calls from customers to place orders or reorders of medical supplies. Agents will act as a liaison, problem-solving order issues, researching accounts and providing resolutions in a high-volume call center.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 2-4 years experience preferred
  • Prior computer experience using Microsoft Office systems required
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Familiarity with call-center phone systems preferred

Accountabilities in this Role:

The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for providing customer assistance, including, but not limited to, order placement, product information, order status, order discrepancies, and customer complaints for approximately ~60-80 incoming calls per day.

  • Answer incoming phone calls from customers, caregivers, and applicable referral sources regarding various medical supplies
  • Ability to handle high call volumes day to day
  • Navigate multiple computer programs throughout the workday
  • Process orders for new and existing customers, collecting necessary information for insurance billing; collect payment as needed
  • Uses provided resources/company websites to navigate customer’s concerns
  • Consults with Supervisor or Team Lead on complex and unusual problems
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support

  • Keen attention to detail
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and co-workers at all times
  • Capacity to navigate stressful situations with ease

SHIFT: Your new hire training will take place Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm EST, mandatory attendance is required.  Once you have completed new hire training, you will take part in a shift bid to determine your schedule.

 

This position is full-time (40 hours/week).  Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am-9pm EST Mon-Fri and 9am-3pm EST Sat.  Agents assigned a shift with a Saturday workday will receive a shift differential of $1/hr. Agents assigned a shift that ends at or after 8pm, will receive a shift differential of $2/hr.

In addition, based on seasonal fluctuations in volume, there are times throughout the year where overtime is mandated.

We will provide you with the computer, technology and equipment needed to successfully perform your job. You will be responsible for providing high-speed internet.

Ironically, the first step is the hardest. You need to learn how to develop software applications, which can take some time. It’s a good idea to find things like software development courses or a DevOps course to gain all of the knowledge you need.

The internet is also a fantastic resource with lots of free content you can use to learn how to create your first software application. 

Once you get the fundamentals down, everything else will be much easier for you. The good news is, that you don’t need a degree for this at all.

You could get one if you wanted extra professional training/education, but the cost/benefit isn’t worth it. Instead, online training and courses are a better idea. 

 

Develop a Useful Piece of Software

Next, you have to develop software that’s useful for people. Here, the window of possibility is flung wide open for you to explore. A good idea is to look at your daily life and see how software could improve it.

For example, what if you had an app on your phone that connected to other people in your household with the same app. Then, the app works like a joint shopping list – when someone adds something to the list, everyone gets an update.

When you buy things, you tick them off the list. It’s a random idea, but it can be useful for people living in multi-person households. 

You want to create something that’s easy for people to use, yet it makes their life so much better. You can target the consumer market or you can look at businesses. Once you have created your software, you can start to market it to the world.

How do you make money? It’s simple, set a monthly fee that people pay to use the app. This can be as little as $4 a month, possibly even less. Apps get downloaded in the thousands, so even charging $2 can bring in a significant recurring income.

It can be paid each month like a Netflix subscription, and the money goes straight to you. 

The benefit of this system is that you keep earning money without needing to do anything. Sure, you will need to update the software if there are bugs or new features, but you don’t need to constantly be at work.

Plus, even if people stop using the software, they might forget to cancel the subscription, so you still get money regardless of how often someone uses it.

From here, you can work on other software apps that complement the first, gaining more money as your portfolio grows.
