Job Description

As a Career Coach, you will work with students enrolled in North America based-institutions to help them examine, explore, and apply information related to their career development, from early career exploration to accepting job offers.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare for live sessions by reviewing async content, pre- and post-work related to upcoming sessions, and school-specific information for registered attendees
Facilitate live workshops with varying numbers of students and backgrounds
Manage the use of breakout rooms to allow for more targeted collaboration and feedback
Adhere to the Code of Ethics
Provide feedback to internal team members on a regular basis related to student input and experiences within the sessions and related pre- and post-work

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training
2+ years of experience working with post-secondary level students
Coach certification or equivalent training; examples include:
- Minimum of 40 hours of relevant training / education
- Experience working with groups of 10 or more
Experience facilitating online group experiences
- It’s a bonus if your experience is with Zoom, but you’ll have an opportunity to learn the live platform as needed.
Experience with digital communications platforms, such as email, Slack, Zoom, and G Suite
Flexible availability at least 3 days per week
- You will be expected to have at least some evening and weekend availability.
